Dr. Sumpter went to college at Brigham Young University, where he studied athletic training in addition to his pre-med studies. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency training at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI.

Dr. Sumpter has 15 years in family medicine, managing chronic disease conditions like, hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol. He also performs wellness exams for all members of the family.

Dr. Sumpter has lived on the West side of Phoenix for over 10 years with his family. He enjoys to spend time with his wife and 2 children. He likes to be active running and hiking, and playing the drums.
