About
Shanna Johnson, ACNPC-AG, is a compassionate and highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in neurology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Linfield College in Portland, Oregon, and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Board-certified through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Shanna brings a strong clinical foundation and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of care. She is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and holds certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Shanna is dedicated to providing comprehensive neurological care for adults and older adults, treating a wide range of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, tremors, neuromuscular disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, seizures, migraines, strokes, and peripheral neuropathy. She has advanced training in neurostimulator technology, including BrainSense™ and adaptive therapy, allowing her to offer innovative treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.
Her approach to care is rooted in compassion, attentiveness, and a holistic understanding of each patient’s health journey. Shanna is experienced in reviewing and interpreting diagnostic studies such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs, EMGs, and other tests to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Outside of her clinical work, Shanna enjoys painting, drawing, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Rocky. She values creativity, curiosity, and connection—qualities she brings into her patient care every day.
