Renae Furar, NP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of experience in healthcare. She began her medical career in 2002 as a Medical Assistant and X-Ray Technician, where she spent 11 years serving patients within the same medical practice. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in patient care, clinical operations, and building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Motivated to expand her clinical expertise, Renae earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2013. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Grand Canyon University in 2018, becoming a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Renae has gained diverse clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings. As a Registered Nurse, she worked in surgical nursing and neurological hospital medicine, sharpening her assessment skills and clinical judgment in fast-paced environments. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has provided care in correctional healthcare and internal medicine, managing both acute and chronic conditions while emphasizing prevention, education, and long-term wellness.

Renae is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability, Renae brings empathy, clear communication, and a collaborative spirit to every patient interaction. She believes in treating the whole person and strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Renae enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and attending gym classes at Pure Barre. Her dedication to both personal wellness and professional excellence reflects her passion for helping others live healthier lives. We welcome you to IMS Care Center.
