About
Matt Sweeney, PA-C, is a dedicated and experienced physician assistant with 24 years of clinical experience, primarily in primary care and urgent care. Originally from New York, he relocated to Arizona in 2003 and has been committed to providing high-quality patient care ever since.
Matt earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo before obtaining his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School (now Rosalind Franklin University). He has been board-certified by the NCCPA since 1999 and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
As a provider, Matt is passionate about helping patients take charge of their health. Whether treating acute illnesses, managing chronic conditions, or guiding patients toward healthier lifestyles, he takes a personalized and compassionate approach to care. He believes in open communication, patient education, and working collaboratively to develop treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
Beyond medicine, Matt enjoys sports, working out, and swimming in his pool. His passion for patient care, combined with his extensive experience, allows him to offer comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care to the community.
