Junaid Qureshi, MD is a board-certified nephrologist with more than 25 years of experience providing comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University and completed advanced training in nephrology, including a fellowship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia and residency training at Atlantic City Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Qureshi specializes in the diagnosis and management of chronic and acute kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, electrolyte disorders, acidosis, and complex conditions related to hypertension and diabetes. His subspecialty interests include Interventional Nephrology and Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation, allowing him to offer advanced, coordinated care for patients with complex renal needs. While nephrologists do not perform surgery, Dr. Qureshi works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality treatment.

Throughout his career, Dr. Qureshi has held several leadership roles, including Chairman of Nephrology at the Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute, Chairman at St. Joseph Hospital, and Director of an Ambulatory Surgery Center for DKA from 2022–2023. He completed specialized Interventional Nephrology training in 2015.
Known for his empathy, patience, and dedication to patient education, Dr. Qureshi is deeply committed to helping patients understand their condition and actively participate in their care. He is fluent in English and Urdu and is currently accepting new patients, including telehealth appointments.
