Dr. Vandruff went to college at Brigham Young University, where he studied Physiology and Developmental Biology. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency training at Ocala Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, a division of University of Central Florida/Hospital Corporation of America Healthcare Graduate Medical Education Consortium in Ocala, Florida.
Dr. Vandruff is board certified through The American Board of Family Medicine. He is a registered member of The American Academy of Family Physicians. He served as a Chief Resident in his final year of residency.
Dr. Vandruff was born and raised in Payson, Arizona. Prior to beginning his medical training, he spent two years as a missionary in Antofagasta, Chile.
