Erica Simmons, NP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of experience in healthcare. Originally from Missouri, she relocated to Arizona in 2019 and brings a wealth of knowledge from working across multiple specialties, including intensive care (ICU) in a Level 1 trauma center, progressive care (PCU), gastroenterology, medical-surgical units, cardiology, and neurology. Her diverse background allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a well-rounded clinical perspective.
Erica is deeply passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain their best health. She is known for her compassionate approach, strong advocacy, and ability to make patients feel heard and comfortable. She believes in the power of education and empowerment, ensuring that each patient understands their health and treatment options. Her dedication to excellence in nursing was recognized with the Daisy Award in 2023.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from United States University in San Diego, CA, in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO, in 2015. She is certified as an FNP-C by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
