Julie Kocemba received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Queen’s University of Charlotte. She graduated with honors and received her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Before starting her career as a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at Suburban Hospital Emergency Department/Trauma Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

With Julie being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at six years old, she made the decision early in her medical career to focus and specialize in Endocrinology. She values forming trusting relationships with her patients and believes in empowering patients through education to help them make informed decisions about their health.

In her free time, Julie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves to sustain an active lifestyle by exploring the outdoors through hiking or playing sports.
