Jeffrey Munro, DO
Dr. Munro is originally from New Jersey where he attended Rutgers College for his undergraduate education and subsequently the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for medical school, residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases. His fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the Mayo Clinic brought him to the Phoenix area and enjoying the area immensely, he settled in the valley. Areas of interest in electrophysiology include atrial fibrillation, cryptogenic stroke and ventricular tachycardia. Outside of medical practice, Dr. Munro spends time pursuing outdoors activities including hiking, camping and mountaineering.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.
Dr. Vakil is well published in his field and is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and American Society of Echocardiography.
He enjoys skiing, swimming, and photography in his free time.
