Dr. Ata is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Ata received his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Pakistan in 1985. He went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at Nishtar Medical College. Dr. Ata then joined the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Karachi, Pakistan. He spent 7 years at the institute doing research work, earned a Diploma in Cardiology, and was in a research doctorate program when he decided to come to the United States.
